Coordinated and connected bombings happened in New York and New Jersey. Many of these sites are a short distance from each other and most are within one metropolitan area. To date, this does not appear to be a large terror cell with massive resources, thus this type of attack could easily be replicated.
While the President has implemented the state of national emergency, ultimately, emergency management begins at the local level of government. The local level of government will manage the emergency and will request more resources as the management of the emergency requires.
