Emergency and disaster management Monday Briefing for December 28, 2015: Winter Storm Goliath brings destruction across the U.S., tornadoes devastate northern Texas, flash floods bring fatalities in the Midwest, and severe storms in the Southeast result in numerous deaths.

The storm-related death toll in Mississippi is at least 10, and another five people died in Alabama and Arkansas.

Up to 50 law enforcement personnel dispersed the unruly crowds at the height of the disturbance and the mall bolstered security before reopening.
  11. Officials report that a [link url=”http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/california-wildfire-60-percent-contained-evacuations-lifted-35961794″ title=”California wildfire is about 75 percent contained“] and full containment is expected Tuesday. The wildfire, north of Ventura, reportedly began Friday night after [link url=”http://www.cbsnews.com/news/southern-california-residents-returning-home-after-wildfire/” title=”high winds downed power lines on an oil field“].
