France Hostage Situation, Tunisian Blast Labeled Terrorism, Baltimore School Stabbing, Paris Attacks Update

Hostage Situation Unfolding in Roubaix, France

Gunshots rang out in Roubaix, a northern French town and allegedly, [link url=”http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/11/24/us-france-shooting-hostages-idUSKBN0TD2MK20151124?feedType=RSS&feedName=topNews&utm_source=twitter#KpiZdO4CYSAwJerg.97″ title=”hostages have been taken“] by armed men.  This situation is currently unfolding,  but sources report that a family may have been taken hostage, and access to the neighborhood has been restricted.

Tunisian Bus Explosion Kills 12, Injures Others

Members of the Tunisian presidential guard were [link url=”http://bigstory.ap.org/article/ce7e2187c7fe42eab15c34baa39de59a/latest-blast-strikes-tunisia-presidential-guard-bus” title=”onboard a bus that exploded“] in the nation’s capital, killing 12 and injuring more than a dozen other people.  The explosion occurred just 10 days after the country increased security levels due to the high number of incidents this year.  The Tunisian Interior Ministry has labeled the recent explosion a “terrorist act.”

Student Stabbed Inside Baltimore School

Police are investigating the [link url=”http://foxbaltimore.com/news/local/stabbing-at-renaissance-academy-high-school-under-investigation” title=”stabbing incident that occurred inside a Baltimore school“] just a short while ago.  The student’s condition remains unknown at this time.

Paris Attacks Update: A New Suspect – Arrest Warrant Issued

A [link url=”http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-34916445″ title=”new suspect, Mohamed Abrini, has been identified in the Paris Attacks“] and a warrant has been issue for his arrest.  The suspect was allegedly seen driving in a Renault Clio with another suspect from the attack, Salah Abdeslam.  The vehicle was reportedly used later in the attacks.  The warrant was issued by a Belgian judge and is both a European and International warrant.

Kimberly Arsenault serves as an intern at the Cleveland/Bradley County Emergency Management Agency where she works on plan revisions and special projects. Previously, Kimberly spent 15 years in commercial and business aviation. Her positions included station manager at the former Midwest Express Airlines, as well as corporate flight attendant, inflight manager, and charter flight coordinator. Kimberly currently holds a master's degree in emergency and disaster management from American Public University.
